Put the rock back in before the water change. You don't want to stir things up again after you do it.

Yeah I did, its been 12 hours, tank levels all tested zero this morning, except Nitrates, .25. SG was a little high, 1.026, that will come down with the water change. All the live stocl looks good so far...
I'm still wondering why I did that. 7+ years in the hobby you would think I know better... Live and learn. Been a long and stressful week at work but thats still no excuse.
Althoguh this may be a blessing in disguise... I have been meaning to re do the aquascaping for my corals. As well as replacing the powerheads...

do you have a filter sock?
i did the same thing and couldnt get the water clear so i put a sock on the drain for a few days and the water was crystal clear .then i took the sock off for the pods .

No, no filter sock, been running the canister and 2 hob's with carbon. Its clearing good, gonna leave work eraly and start to get everything back in...
