Probably a good idea to test the LFS bag water for PH and SG.
Goal here is to avoid osmotic, temp and PH shock which happens when livestock encounters a drastic change in these levels by being introduced to a tank without proper acclimation (drip acclimation).
In the case of a short local trip ammonia should not be a problem.
For example my preferred LFS water parameters closely match that of my tank. In this case I just temp acclimate and add a few cups of water from my tank over a half hour to 45 minutes before introducieng the animal.
In the case of LFS that maintain artificially low SG drip acclimation of as much as 3 to 4 hours may be necessary.
In the case of long trips the shipper will usually add an ammonia detoxifier to the shipping bag which combined with other factors can lower the PH which accounts for the longer acclimation periods recommended for this circumstance.
At any rate animal should not be introduced to tank until shipping water has been slowly adjusted to match that of tank.
