need help fast

i just received my order today and i was wondering about how to put feather dusters in my reef they look like sticks right now and i know its because they been in a bag i need to know how i put them in the reef just let them go and they will find a spot ? any help would be great thanks

Acclimate them of course. You want to place them in a spot where they will get some water flow. Their feathers shoudl sway a decent amount. I will warn you. I've had 3 and all three have died. They will jump their tubes from time to time and either make a new tube or shrivel up. I've just had bad luck and i don't know if thats because they were in a 12 or just because they eventually hated where they were rooted and never recovered.... Mean while my mini dusters are flourishing.... Go figure.

If you want them to look like they would in the wild then bury them with just the open end above the sand.
Most people set them with rocks hiding the tube.
