Need help Identifing

These have been growing in my tank. I am not sure what they are but they are maliable soft tssue like tubes that branch out from live rock. I have not seen anything inside them. I also have some type of organisim that has a white calcified body with tenticles that reach out and snatch food. They are very small and I haven't been able to get a picture of them.

It's a sponge of some sort...
The second critter sounds like a tube worm.

Do I need to remove them if they are sponges?
Tube Worms? I'll do some research on how to get rid of them.

Both are good to have... the sponge is a filter feeder and the tube worm will feed on small particals of food and waste.

Also the sponge will make nice food for some critter
