I was wondering what would be the best way to move my tank. I was thinking about filling up a twenty gallon with my water and moving all livestock to it. I was then going to keep as much water as I can and refill my display with that. Any Iedeas, The livestock is in my sig, plus a zebra goby, and 25 scarlett hermits. Please help, moving next weekend . Thanks ricky

I wouldn't put the anenomes in the same bucket as the other livestock or you could have some inadvertant deaths. Drain all the water and don't remove the sandbed. If you want you can just wrap the LR in wet newspaper for the trip if it won't be cross country or anything. This is how it comes to your LFS. Just dont disturb the sand bed and do a 10g water change when you set it back up. Also I've found it easier to move the tank after everything else is moved so you can get it where you are going and immediatley set it up. You can leave the sand in the tank when you move it.
