need help/ lighting

fire in family room. vho's burnt. haloids ok. loooking at the new solaris. Are the bulbs replaceable??? Any info?? read all the analysis of product. Any help-- very grateful!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! Was it your tank that started it? I'm really sorry to hear it but at the same time if it was I'd like to hear what happened.
The bulbs in the solaris I do not believe are field replaceable, but they have such a long life that they probably won't ever need replacement.

The "electrician" who did the wiring for the family room use number ten wire which should be attached to a 15 amp circut breaker. He used a twenty amp. Apparently the wire is not to be used for this load. Caused the wires and the plug to over heat, burn. The dry wall, part of the 125 gal. stand were burning. I had just got off my job. Here's the funny part at the FIRE Dept that morning and was letting out my grandsons dog. smelt something funny. Looked at the tank, water level down? looked under the tank and up the wall. FIRE. It''s kinda funny considering my job. And the fact that I had just finished a remodel of the family room. I got the fire out. Didn't know if it had spread into the wall so called the local dept to come and check. all was well.
My family room is now rewired and repaid. dry wall in progress. Tank stand rebuilt, moved tank. lost some very nice sp corals. and of course the six foot vho florecents are shot/ melted etc. hence the trying to figure out what to do now!!!!!
