Welcome to the site.
How long has your tank been up and running? How did you start it?
Unless you're considering a dwarf angel, such as a coral beauty, your tank is too small for a larger species of angelfish, the same goes for many butterflies, but you could get away with one.

Yep...a 55 is on the small side. You could probably keep one of the smaller BF's such as a black & white Heniochus (Heniochus acuminatus) or a threadfin/auriga (Chaetodon auriga), but a 55 is on the hairy edge of being too small.

There are plenty of options, just no big fish, and butterflies are considered a larger reef fish.
Look into some wrasses, firefish, gobies, dwarf angels, blennies, etc. You might not be able tohave large fish, but you certainly can have a colorful tank full of life.

okay thanks so much ill deff look into those fish more and some day i really want seahorses in there so ill have to see how to do that and how big of a tank i would need thank you again

Seahorses should be in semi-small tanks 30g or less... and should be species only. Meaning only seahorses only go with seahorses of the same species. Good luck and welcome to the forum!

I hate to disagree with you....BUT seahorses (full size...not dwarfs) should not be in a tank smaller then a 30G (or a 29) LOL
