Need help starting tank

Thanks for help in advance. i put live rock in today and it stirred the sand bed around so my question is should i run my powerheads if the tank is real cloudy still, or should i let it settle before because i was told to let powerheads run when liverock was put into the tank, will the sand still settle and is the sand going to get stirred around when i move the rocks around again( bad placement due to the cloudiness) Thanks

Hi welcome to the obsession
first off when you place your rock it should be on the bottom of the tank on the glass then you put sand around the rock to hold it from moving once the water is in, you should still run the powerheads it will clear the tank faster also whats your filtration setup that will determine how fast it will clear also good luck

I agree with MJTech12, but again, what kind of filtration do you have? Be careful if you have a backpack filter, as turning it on when the sand hasn't settled chews up the magnets inside them, thus shortening the life of the product.
