Need Help w/ Skimmer Selection

So I have a choice... I can get a used Aqua medic Turboflotor 1000 without a pump for $50.
Or I can get a new Coralife super skimmer 125 for $100.
Anyone have an opinion? Has anyone used the Aquamedic one?

Not overly familiar with a turboflotor, but I hear they are an ok skimmer, but don't take my word on it. Coralife skimmers work and work fine and are not over priced......they also have a one year warranty and great customer service. How much is a replacment pump for a turboflotor cost?

Well I guess it is a mute point now. I ended up getting the aqua medic for $45. Not bad since they sell for $125 without the pump. However, it is coming with an aquabee pump that does not work. Has anyone heard of these or know where I can get parts for them?
