A while back I purchased some frozen krill. Great food, my puffers swear by it but.......I forgot where on line I bought it, or the brand name. It was a 16 oz flat with a logo of "soft (something)" on the front of the pkg. These are the best krill I have ever bought. Large size and not frozen with a lot of water so chunks are not like an ice cube. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Larry

i must admit this really had me confused. do you mean freeze dried if so IMO
Hikari Freeze Dried Whole Krill is the best on the market

No, Joe it's not a freeze dried product. It is similar to SF brand frozen but uses much less water. The pkg never gets real hard like most frozen products do. You can blow on them and they are soft to the touch. That's another problem with being 83, you find something good and you can't remember where.
I appreciate your recommendation. I'll give it a try. Larry

Hikari, San Francisco Bay, Ocean Nutrition, all good stuff. any LFS has them. Going to pay a lot online for shipping...

Joe, you're just plain chicken. Thanks for jumping in Meowzer. i've used the Sally's brand and it's Ok but the other that I can't find, was superior. The Bio-pure looks like it could be close. The color is good and not cloudy as it is on most of the frozen brands. Sorry to have opened a can-of -Krill if you will....I'll give the bio-pure a shot and see how it compares. Thanks a bunch, Larry

Yes, I know Cris but when you live on the desert miles from a marine fish store, you really don't have much choice. That's how I spend my stimulus money. {:)

INGREDIENTS: Fresh Frozen Krill, drained of excess water, frozen with Potassium ascorbate.

LOL...and when you live in a tiny small in S.E. Oklahoma...you have no choice either

I buy all my frozen food online....I buy 4-6 months worth to get a discount, and make the shipping worth it
