Need help with a pair of clowns

Hi I bought a pair of fire clowns around 2 weeks ago. They were fine eating well and swimming together..... Now, one of the clowns is agressive to the other one. I was told that this could be the "female" showing who is the boss..... But it only happends with the lights on... The male clown is hiding on the back of a rock all the time not eating at all. At night, both clowns will sleep on the top or at the bottom.
The female is so agressive that I introduced my hand to the tank and she attacked me lol....

Approx. what size are they ? Are they both the same size ? Sounds like you either have two females or you have an adult pair .

Now the clown has fin rot, he is not eating, stays in the same place and has signs of stress

I guess he will die soon...

Personally I would take the aggressor back to the lfs (in case its just a mean fish) and trade for another smaller than the other one since there is a good chance you have 2 females. Just my $.02
