need help with bak pak

i installed a cpr bak pak. it has only been set up wor a week now. is there supposed to be an o-ring on the collection cup itself. also is there supposed to be an air inlet valve somewhere on this thing? i bought it used and im not sure if i set it up right the bio bale is looking pritty scummy, but there is no scum in the cup. also the cup sits right on the inlet pipe (not sure if this right either)

yes..there is an O ring for the cup and also the powerhead has a tube that has a little valve at the end.

broomer, the collection cup appears to be floating on top of the foam. mine sits right on the inlet tube what am i missing

the o-ring
you should be able to get one from lfs that carries CPR products or contact CPR directly.
Or measure the circumference of the cup and pick one up at Home Depot or something.
