pretty much any snail/hermit would nibble on it, But generally it would go away with ro/di water changes and plenty of flow try 15x-30x turnover rate per hour..

Looks like I have it stopped, I have about 28 times turn over in the DT. I'm adding 100 Blue legs this weekend. Hope to see it disappear shortly.

how old is this tank? it maybe just a phase that your going through it would go away by itself and with the help of water changes .. it sound like you have enuf turnover rate..
Also are you using ro/di water? are your parameters good?
The hermits aren't gonna due much about the cyano, they will help, but IMO you're better off not buying them unless you just want hermits. But IMO snails would help more..

I'm going thru the algea blooms now, just finished the diatom, got some cyano and some hair... seems they are starting to end as they arent progressing anymore. I use RO/DI and parameters are great.
