How big's the file? I think there's a 5 meg limit on file attachments. If it's a BMP then it could be pretty big. You might try saving it as a jpg (jpeg) or zipping it (or RARing it).

It looks like that would work. Maybe you could move the drain tube in the DT over to the far right side. That would create better circulation.

Great diagram, chris17! That's basically what my fisrt picture tried to be...but since it's a hob fuge, it's behind the tank, instead of beside it. I'd rather have it out to the side so I can see what's going on inside---but space it rather limited. But everything else looks the same: The pump will be mounted high in the display tank, flow through the fuge, them I'll drill a hole in the face of the fuge and plumb it with pvc so it will gravity feed back into the tank. I don't really trust the siphon design---too much could go wrong. This design is just like my aquaclear 200's I use on the tank now (just on a larger scale), and those work great. Thanks for all your help. I'll post pics as soon as I get it up and running.

Just finished up the fuge this weekend...let me know what you think.
I went with the original idea, with a pump in the display and the water being gravity fed back into the tank with a pvc elbow. I built a stand out of 90 degree steel to elevate the fuge above the waterline. There's kind of a redundant safety overflow above the the main one in case it gets blocked. I put the heater in the fuge and a coralife 20" 28 watt 50/50 light on top for the live rock and calurpa.
