cant really tell but is that attached to the fish?
if it is its probably a paraitsc isopod that feeds on fish I cant remember the name of cirinoid or somehing think that and will eventually kill the fish in your tank,.
do a search for isopods and it should bring up some more info and pics of them to compare.

Found one of the articles not the exact one I read before but similar techniques.

I finally caught her and got it off, it wasn't attched to deep, it came off rather easily.. Isure hopr that is all I se of those darn little creatures. I thought the brissle worms were bad enough, but at least with them youset your trap evry so often and catch afew and feel good. I set mine at least once a week and last week I casught 4 in one spot, then moved it to another spot over noght and caught2 more. Caught one when I took one piece of live rock out of the tank and when I went to put it back one was crawling across the top of the rock, what an easy catch. but is there a trap for these isopods? doubt it huh?

Without a doubt a cirolanid...and there are few parasite diagnoses that would be worse, IMO. Perhaps hope you only had one, but...
Bristle worms, BTW, are nearly all harmless and beneficial creatures to have in a tank.
I think Bang Guy does a good review of cirolanids.

Sorry to thread jack, but can you avoid getting these by QT'ing everything you put in your tank? or Do they usually come in on your live rock? Are there no inverts that eat these? Scary!
