need help with id please

I bought this at a lfs and they could not tell me what it was if anyone can help me id this I would love the help so I can find out exactly how to care for it. they said that it didn't need any extra care but I would like to make sure. I am not sure they knew to much

Don't know the technical term, but try Brown Star Polyps. Looks exactly like Green Star Polyps, but brown. lol

Thank you for your reply I looked at the Green Star Polyps and they do look to be close to the same. Maybe they were only 25 dollors because they were brown.

Just for future reference if the LFS cant tell you what it is,they can not tell you how to care for it!!!!
but agree it does seem to be some type of star polyps. just cant tell by the picture if they are individual polyps or growing otu of a mat.
