Need help with marine plant lighting

I am planning to put some marine live plants in my fish only tank. 125 gallon. 6 feet wide and around 24 inches tall. I have 2 lights that are 30 watts each with 50/50 lights.
Can this light be enough to grow plants? Different people have different opinion on this.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks

I have a 120g freshwater planted tank and I use 440w of VHO over the tank, if that gives you some idea.
60w is not a lot of light at all... I wouldn't try it. The nice thing about plants is that ordinary daylight flourescent lamps will work great for them. Consider a couple of (2) lamp 40W fixtures staggered over the tank. That'll give you 160w total. Dirt cheap and easy.

Thanks. Someone at petstore told me that saltwater plants dont need that much light as freshwater. So I thought 60 watts would be enough. Also my tank is ony 24 inches tall.
