Need Help with my light choice.

OK Well I am new to salt water. I have a tank that was converted from Fresh to Salt. Been running for 3 weeks. Will be FOWLR for several months. Have a 72 gal bow front with 30lbs LR with 50 LBS being shipped to be here Fri. Cycle is going well, but the light I have on the tank is the light from the old FW tank setup.
Single 47 inch bulb. Bulb says F40 T12 ARFS for Fresh and Salt water. I do not want to replace the lighting system yet as I want to get a nice light setup to support a good reef in the near future, but I do want to at least have the right bulb in the existing light housing to support the LR for a few months until I am ready to upgrade.
So. Is this bulb OK or is there something else that I need to get to keep the LR and grow good alge and stuff on the rocks?
Thanks in advance

That lamp will be fine for the rock. I run a FOWLR tank that has a simple strip light in it like yours, no problem.
