Well later today I will be buying some corals including- hammer, frogspawn, pom pom xenia, colt coral, and maybe some mushrooms.
Can anyone give me some advice on where to place these in my tank? Which need more light, and/or more flow? Can i place any in the sand? (like the colt?) I have a 75 gal. tank with 260 watts of PC....i know not alot, I was planning on putting the corals that need more light near the top!
Please help! Thanks!

Mushrooms don't like direct flow and lighting really doesn't matter.
Xenia will do the best in the calmest flow area in the tank and with the brightest light. So some place near the top, but with low flow.
The rest should be good pretty much anywhere as long as they are exposed to light!
Get us some pics when you get it all set up!
Have fun!

I got a Branching Frogspawn that I put at the bottom of my tank. It is a nano 24 gallon. Stuck it right in the sand for about 2 weeks to get used to the 150 watt MH lighting. I then moved it up to the top of the tank in a low flow area over the next two weeks. Moving it a little closer each day. I did this because of the MH lighting is pretty intense in the small tank so that is why I did it this way. The Frogspawn is doing great now. Fully extends each day with the lights on and each branch is splitting now. Been about 3 months since I put it in the tank.....

Agreed with Bonebrake.
Not too sure about the colt; no expirience with them.
I'd avoid harsh flow on the hammer/frogspawn. In my expirience they like lower flows; especially not direct flow. They seem to open up larger and appear healthier in my opinion.

my colt sits in my sand bed and its only attached to a little peice of rock ( an inch) and my tank is a 35 gal and is a foot and a half deep (hex) with only 40 watts and it does fine

I have the corals you mentioned except for the hammer (very similar to the frogspawn) and the colt...I did have a devil's hand leather for about a year, but alas...his time came...he did very well in my 37gal tall for about a year...don't know exactly what happened, but his demise coincided pretty much with my getting metal halides...go figure...
I actually have my frogspawn on the highest rock in my tank, but then mine's a 37gal and is really pretty tall...the fs is pretty far away from the lights and in med - low flow. My xenia is also in med - low flow and has actually started migrating to other rocks. With most 'shrooms, well, they can go just about anywhere.
Definitely post pics when you have everyone situated. How much fun are YOU having???
