Need Help with new LR!!

hey i just bought 25lbs of LR from sw.com and i was wondering if i would have to acclimate the rocks to my tank? I was looking at the Drip method Sw.com recommends and i was planning on doing that unless u guys could give me some better advice... plz?

is your tank cycling or is it done cycling. Is the LR cured or uncured?

tank is cycled and the readings are perfect. the rock is cured... i think swf.com sells only cured rock, but im sure it has had some die off...

I don't think you need to acclimate the rock but I wouldn't put it directly into a display tank with fish or inverts. Even if the rock is cured when it is shipped there will be some die off that will cause an amonia spike. I would put the live rock in a container with a heater, correct salinity water and a powerhead and test the levels for the next couple of weeks to watch for the levels to rise and then drop. When all th levels are safe then you can add the rock.
