Need Help with Plate Coral

I think he is dyeing.Can somebody confirm and if so will he grow back.

yes he is definately dying. long tent plates dont fare well in captivity. their mortality rate is usually 6-9 months. chances are that it will not grow its flesh back. the only thing that u can do is make sure your water quality is perfect. this might not save him but it might prolong its life.

Would this raise my nitrate levels, with it dyeing. They have been going up.

how long have you had the plate coral?

if u have a well established aquarium then the slow die off shouldnt affect your trates....
if u have a smaller aquarium then possiblyt and i would do some small water changes
in my tank 100g with 150lbs LR and its well established if anything dies in the tank i dont worry about it since there is enough bacteria to take care of it
what lighting do u have
