Need Help With Pump Size Decision!

Hi guys!
Back again! : )
Okay, my hubby and I bought a 135 gallon tank recently, and we are going to turn it into a reef tank! YAY!
Well, we are planning on having a sump and whatnot... But I have a big question.
Can anyone reccommend what kind of pump we need for it?
I need a specific brand name, gallon per hour number, and why you would reccommend this particular make and model. Thanks, guys!

Hi. It all depends on
1. What can your overflow handle? Is it a hang on single U tube? 1 or 2 overflows?
2. How high do you have to pump the water back into the tank? (Head pressure)
3. Are you running a UV light that will restrict flow from your return?

It all depends on the overflow rate. So get the overflow first then we can go from there. But i would drill out the tank instead of adding a hang on the back overflow. Check out my shallow lps tank thread and you can see some pics of my custom overflows and i drilled out the back. I would use a eheim or mag pump.
