need help with RO unit

Just got my ro unit from filter guys and everything is great on filter guys my problem is the psi is at 22.And what happens if i run my unit for an hour and then turn the water off?Does it affect the water in the filter if it sits?Thanks

I don't think it affects the water if it sits. You may want to let the first 2 or so mins drain out before collecting water the next time though.
Make sure you keep the membrane wet or frozen when you aren't using it. It will become useless if it dries out once it has been used.
As far as the psi, is 22 too low for your unit? I'm not sure quite what the question is. I used my unit on a very low pressure spicket and it worked, it just took forever to get 5 gallons.

I guess there is a possibility that the membrane won't filter the water correctly, but I don't know enough about the mechanics to say for sure.
I do know that the water I made with very low pressure didn't hurt the tank at all.

my unit needs at least 50 psi to function properly.
what are you using for a source? i use the water hose outside which gives me about 70-80. try that if all else fails.

its hooked up in the bathroom sink i get alot better pressure outside but its still cold here(75 two days ago now its 26)it took almost 15hrs to get 5g
