I have a 30 gallon tank. A power filter and a light. Thats all. I would like to order everything I will need in the next week. And I would like it if someone would tell me everything I will need. Ive read alot of books.I need to know in detail if yall would not mind giving detail. This will be a fish only with a couple of anemone for some clownfish. Thanks for all the help.

go with a deep sand bed of atleast 4 inches on different mixed grain sand size. For the size of tank, a power filter, such as the emperor should work with a protein skimmer, maybe the new prizm. For your anenomes, they require alot of light. I would not get one since they are hard to keep in captivity. Clowns really do not need one. Get some live rock too, about 1 to 1.5 pounds per gallon and a really good test kit for nitrites, nitrates, ammonia and PH. Keep the live stock low, IMO no more than 3 fishes in lenghts of 1 to 2 inches maximum growth and a good clean up crew

I agree stay away from the anenome until you get more light. the anenome might live but it will not be healthy.
