I have a 55 gallon with about 110-120lbs of rock. My problem is i have a sick fish that I do not think is going to make it. The fish is in the middle of the tank on the bottom behind the rocks. I can not get to him without taking out alot of rock and several corals. Would a 2 inch dead fish cause amnonia issues, I have several snails and crabs that would probably take care of the dead fish.
Can I let my clean up crew do its job, or do I need to take the tank apart.
I also have a decent size emerald crab.

what kind of crabs do you have and how many would you say you have? if you have enough crabs they will eat it before it becomes a problem.

The emerald crabs body is about as big as a quarter
about 10 blue and red legs
5-8 turbo snails
a few asteria snails

You should have about 20 hermits in a 55 gallon tank. In my opinion, the hermits will eat the fish, but if you have anemones and corals, the fish might spike the nitrates up enough to cause some stress.
