Need Help!!

Hi, I' having some sort of algae or cryno (cynao?) problem I think. Since i've bought my MH's i have seen a huge amount of air bubbles forming on my LR and LS. It is starting to explode with some kind of algae...Some is purple some is brown but it's growing like crazy.
Someone said it could be some sort of bactearia...not sure what to do to stop this or what is causing it. please help!! I think my phospates could be slightly high but deffinatly not overly bad. everything else is testing good, possibly slightly high. thanks :help: :help: :help: :help:

What is your water temp with new lights? How long do you have them on? How many watts per gall.?

it's a 400W MH set, brand new, water temp is 80-82. Tank is 2 feet deep so this is the light set up that was sugested.

You said you think your phosphates are high. That would be the first thing that I would check first.
