u know what? this is true. honesty is of utmost importance. but words are words are words. you also have to DO as you SAY. sometimes just talking about something is not enough. and in a case like this, when inaction got him into this situation, he's GOT to be aggressive, he's got to ACT. he's got to SHOW her he's serious and is willing to WORK for this relationship and for her companionship. Relationships are BASED on honesty, but they LAST through WORK. ACTION. This isn't about pampering, it's about actually doing what he says he will. and THAT is huge.

Sorry it didn't work out for you. I didn't want to say anything when you posted this, but history has shown for me that when a girl says, "she wants to find herself", it ususally means she's looking at 'options' and other opportunities out there in regards to a relationship. It's probably all for the best. I don't think you wanted to be in a relationship where the person you care for may or may not have the same feelings. Just let it go and 'get back on the horse'. I'm sure you'll find someone else that is just as compatible. Probably even more so.

There is nothing worse than laying it all out on the table and then having her tell you to move on.. But at least you are both very clear that its time to move on and time heals.. live and learn..
