When you say big what do you mean? The big ones that look like a centipede are what we lovingly call Bobbit worms and they eat coral...tear apart the rocks, but at all costs get it out of your reef.
However the little red ones are good guys.

big ones as in they were red getting more pinkish as they grow longer. they are well over 5-7 inches long. Is there a way to take out my live rocks and let them sit for a day or two or will that just ruin my rocks?

Cranberry is our critter expert...PM her and see what she says... was only familiar with the tiny half toned red ones...big pink ones..

Don't do anything until we identify what you have.

I don't know cranberry, but it has only been a couple of hours. Remember not everyone sits in front of a computer all the time.
What is that I keep reading about this hobby?.....
