Need Help!

Okay, so I have a 29 gallong tank. It's 30 inches long. I have a Coralife Lunar Aqualight, which is 130 watts. It's on from 10AM to 6:30PM, and every day the tank gets filthy. The glass gets a brownish tint, and the sand at the bottom gets brownish too. I have to keep moving the sand, and cleaning the rocks every couple of hours. I also do water changes every week because this happens, but no help. What's wrong with my tank? Why is it getting brown?

It's normal...I got some hermit crabs because they love to eat brown algae. Get a mag float to clean your glass. Snails that move the sand or a sand sifting goby will clean the sand right up.

i shut down my 90 reef and added everything to my 250 gallon .started using the 750 watts of mh and bam red and green algae.its been two months now and finally going away.i added 75 turbos and they are slowly catching up.also a few conches and emerald crabs.how old is your tank?it takes time the the system to stabilize anytime you mess with it.especially adding more light.patience and a good suction hose to suck up some algae in the mean while.as long as you keep maintenance it will eventually go away.maybe add a phosphate reactor set up will help it along.
