Need help

My tank has saltwater and aroganite sand in the fuge, all my readings on the tank are great, after a day of letting the tank circulate this morning I found my tank with a real bad foogy film on everything. What's up with this?
55 gal new tank

There is some sort of a fine milky film all over everything. I don't know if it's the bacteria or something from the arganite sand that I put in the fuge, that's the only thing besides the saltwater that is in there.

is it on the glass or is it distinct EVERYWHERE... does it almost look like streaks on the glass and how old is ur aquarium?

It's all over everything, an even milky film. It's not any streaks. My tank is brand new and water has been in it only two days. The first day looked awsome this morning look like it how your windows would fog up, but thicker.
I have wiped some off and it kinda looks like it might be the salt, some has settled in the bottom of the tank like if I were adding salt, I do not have a clue.

What circulation do you have. I have a 55 and it isn't as bad as yours sound. I have no powerheads yet and only a filter. SOmetimes it can be too much salt or lack of circulation. What ya got?

I am thinking it is probably a fine sediment from your aragonite in the fuge. It will probably settle in a few days, or you can try to run your water through some polyfilter, that will clear it up if it is aragonite dust.

I have no problem with circulation. I have two power jets , I think called pengium or something like that , mounted on back of the tank and my pump it's a monster Mag 9 and wants to suck everything out of my sump, had to regulate a good flow so everything could keep up. Still think I have to much flow, but seems to be doing fine.

hmmm, well i have no clue, lol... clean it off and give it a few days. If it comes back just post until u find an answer that will work... srry i wasn't much help :)
