Ok, i posted this in the "fish" forum, but they were unable to help me. Since more people visit this forum, i figured someone on here has to know what in the world kind of fairy wrasse this is. At the LFS, all they had it listed as is a "fairy wrasse". I looked in my pocketexpert guide to marine fishes book, and the only thing close i found was an "exquisite fairy wrasse" but all of the pics i found online look nothing like my guy... please help. not too worried about him getting along with my other fish, or outgrowing my tank, as the largest fairy wrasse i found only gets 5". Supposedly, only 3-4" in captivity. Just wanna know what kind it is.
this was a once in a lifetime find!!! he was only $19.99 too!!! I also got an engineer goby. Anyone have any idea how big they get? I read somewhere that someone had a 9" one. Mine's only about 3" right now. I got him for only $9.99... lol funny story too. The dumb%&$ guy at my LFS said he had no idea what kind of goby it was (mind you, this is the same guy that tried to tell me a leather coral was a mushroom...), and that it came in with all the other gobies, so he'd sell it to me for the same price as the cheapest goby they have... lol It was awesome! So i got him for cheap!
anyway, got off track... ID please???
