need info on resetting up salt tank

Could somebody please give me the requested info so I can restock my older aquarium with fish and corals again? Am not a new hobbyist. Need to refresh my memory on correct parameters for fish and reef tank like proper temp, PH, salinity and all mineral levels. Thanks

Ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate ideally 0 but generally under .25ppm. As far as trace elements any good reef salt and regular water changes will keep this in check. Also ro water is reccomended

What I did was put some of the sand in a bucket. I did it so as to retail all the minerals in the sand. Then stick a garden hose down in it and mix it up with my hand. It took me about 30 minutes before the water ran totally clean but it worked fine. If you can replace the old sand I would suggest doing so but you don't really have to.
