Need LS help please

Just recieved my LS order from SWF.com. This is my second order and is very unlike the first in that it really stinks. Smells like turbo snail die off heaven. What do you experts advise I do? Is this okay to just put right in the tank or what?

:happyfish Are you referring to Live rock or Live stock? If it's live rock, it maybe still curing? I would ask bang guy directly, or contact swf help crew about your order. That doesn't sound right. Good luck.

Live Sand.
Yes, I have an email into SWF.com but I was hoping for a more timely answer.

You can pour it into a bucket to cure but you'll lose a lot of life that way. For a small system I'd do the bucket route but add a couple of handfulls a day. Keep a lot of water, a powerhead, and a heater in the bucket and do frequent water changes to keep as much alive as possible.

Tee hee. In the interest of time I have added the sand. I'm testing the water. The amonia has only trace amounts so I should be ok. My system has been running for a year and I'm pretty confident that it will handle this well. I'll do a 10% water change over the weekend.
BTW this is really beautiful sand. As soon as the water clears I'll try to post up some pics;-)

:happyfish Now that the sand is in, doing a water change is probably a good idea to be on the safe side. Good luck
