MH and LED have great growth. You get what you pay for in this hobby. It's up to you. for your range, you could maybe do a DIY LED setup or buy chinese LEDS.

Check out Apollo Reef LED lighting. Affordable units... and they have good spectrum - much better than the Chinese made lights. Plus, you won't be risking your money by buying overseas.
