Need quick info before purchase

Are Remora skimmers really good skimmers? I was thinking of selling my Red sea prism and finnex skimmer for this one? Are they better than a Red sea prism?

I would say so myself.Do some research .I have been looking into getting one myself.

had the prizim then bought the remora but it was to loud for the living room so now have the hob octopus 100.The remora skims better than the prizim by far,but I think the octopus is better of the 3

dplantz....The Remoras are good skimmers. If you have, or will purchase one, I would tell you they have a 'break in' period of a day or two before they start
really skimming.

i think remora skimmers are terrible skimmers. mine was very loud, and had unstoppable microbubbles. very little skimmate also. worthless IMO/IME.
i'd rather have an aqua medic turbofloater,or a coralife super skimmer(the 125 version)
