ok my roommate has an acrylic 10g hex aquarium that recently started leaking. i was thinking of repairing it with silicon and using it for something....this is where you guys come in. i dont know what i want to do with it! here are my ideas....
-small reef
-FO w/ clown or two
-FO w/ firefish (or other goby)
-pistol shrimp/goby combo
so i need ideas! feel free to let me know what you have set up and post pics!

wow just a very odd shaped tank to make it a practical reef.... um easiest thing would be a fish only with some live rock and maybe some inverts.... just remember smaller tanks are usually harder to keep stable.... if anything i would go with a nano cube deluxe set up or something to that nature im not really good with tanks but id say easiest thing to do with the least money to be spent would be fish only with some LR you could do some nice rock work and make it look nice

yeah i have a 29g so im accustomed to smaller tank. i think i can handle a 10g. i was planning to just add LR and stack it to make it look good. then either do clown and maybe a goby of some kind....

Although nobody would recommend it, You could put one of those baby anglers in the tank, with a reef setup, that would be really neat. I had an angler in a 10gallon(the normal 10g tank) and it did just fine, they are pretty neat!

i would consider it if i had a regular 10g, but i think i want something that will utilize the taller dimesions of the tank. although a single angler would be very cool.....

Well, You may go for another contraversial one, the dwarf lionfish. Or what I would try is this one tank I saw that was really neat, they had a little reef set up, with a few clown gobies like 3 and they had like 2 catalina gobies. I would go for some of those really neat looking small gobies in a reef set up, that would be sweet.
