LOL, I can tell you one thing, I am so excited about getting back into the hobby again, and hopefully beginning to give some advice on here as well once I get back into the swing of things. I was a moderator of two forum sites about 5 years ago, but both have been shut down from what I can tell. I have never been that knowledgable with the technology aspect of thr hobby, but I am reading up on it and trying to get there. My strongpoint has always been the livestock itself, and the species and facts about the actual fish. I do appreciate all of the help everyone has given me thus far, and I am looking forward to more questions! I found out today that no Wal-Marts in NJ, (or at least none in my general area) have any water refill stations or anything like it...With that being said I am left with a couple options. 1) Invest in an RO/DI system and make my own, 2) Buy pre-mixed for 1.00 a gal which for me will be 10 bucks a week for a few weeks until my parameters are good, and then I will probably drop to 5gal per week. For the time being I am going to buy my water, and use that for water changes and for top offs, and I am coming into a promotion at work (thurs. i believe) and that will allow a little better flow of the funds so an RO/DI system will probably be my first equipment buy in the upcoming months!
