well i dont think you would be able to do anything like this at your work place,,, but for my senior prank last year at my highschool me and a few of my friends caught live animals in traps such as ratcoons, possums and a few huge rats and we snuck into the school that night and released them all into different class rooms and i think 3 ratcoons in the office...it was so funny none of the animals were hurt be we did get out of school early and we never got caught.....i think all together there were like 29 animals we had it only took us 1 week to catch them all

Hold down the Control + Alt + Down arrow buttons at the same time. It will invert the screen upside down, rebooting the computer won't solve the situation. After she spends 10 or 15 minutes cursing the computer, the solution is control + ALT + Up arrow to fix it.
Like I said only about half the computers I have tried this on works.
i had a dream that i did this and it worked.
i swear to god.

Assuming its a true cubicle, wrap and tape saran-wrap across the front, and fill the entire thing with packing peanuts, or crumpled newspaper. Or wrapping paper if you want a holiday effect.
The nicer/easier version is to string saran-wrap or cardboard across the top as well, then just cover that and the front six inches instead. Same look and initial effect, less setup and cleanup.
Or, if this whole exercise is going to take a dark turn, take food (I've found Chinese produces the best results, fresh fish the fastest) and place it either inside the cubicle walls themselves, or taped up under/behind some piece of furniture.
It takes a couple days to start stinking, but when it does, this person will never, never ever mess with you again. For an added bonus, split it and place it in two places. The person will stop looking after finding the first, and the fun continues.
Yes, I am a sick puppy.
This would also go great with catfish bait! When I used to live at Fort Bragg we used to stick it in the frame of the door to the Platoon Sergeants office.

military jokes, those are brutal. When we were kids, we got my cuz who is now in the marines, with a summer sausage, and ranch. I'll let your imagination fill in the details, but he did tell me that he used it the other day on a new guy in his unit or whatever it is called. There was a pretty good fight that ensued. But he did say it was priceless.

You have to hold down crtl and ALT and arrow down all at the same time.
The way I found out about this was my wife was attemping to do crtl, alt, delete to bring up task manager. She inadvertatnly hit the down arrow while reaching for the delete button inverting her screen. As Murphys Law would have it, she was in a rush to finish some paperwork but its hard to do a google search for the solution while the screen is inverted and I believe the mouse even works backwards, up is down and down is up.
Anyway she called me at work, I googled upside down screen and there are multiple articles with the solution.
Anyways it is a quick prank you can pull on an office worker while they step away from their desk for a minute. Just casually walk by, hit all 3 buttons AT THE SAME TIME and walk away. Offer up the solution whenever you see fit, but maybe before they call the IT department. As stated previously they don't take kind to solving pranks.

go to thinkgeek.com
not only are there super cool nerd things, there are some annoying office tools. From annoying little random beeping devices to USB powered lazer guided foam rocket launchers. They also have this hilarious little dog, you plug it into your USB port and it humps it. It doesnt store memory or anything, just a USB powered ornament.

or you can just wrap everything desk, cabinet, computer, chair, and dorrway with cellophane. Get about 2 good rolls and just wrap everything.
Another idea: go to work very early, or stay very late and christmas warp everything. chair, desk, cabinet, computer, folders. It would be even better if you ut everything in individual boxes.
spray their office down with fake snow
i'm and brainstorming a few more...

Now that the desktop is empty, set the wallpaper image to the screen capture you saved earlier. Everything looks normal but when they try to open any of the icons on the desktop, nothing works.
What adds to the frustration is the taskbar items work which allows them to restart, thinking its just frozen but restarting never fixes it.
Just make sure it doesn't get to the point IT gets involved. They will probably not find it as funny.
