need sum coral reccomendations

hello all...im looking for sum begginer corals..the only one ive found so far that i really liked was an unbrella shroom...i need sumthing that will do thrive under 130watts of pc...im interested in brains but i think ill hold off on them til later when i ahe sum experience under my belt...any sugestions will be greatly appreciated! :joy:

how deep is the tank.
most Softies and LPS should be ok. if not to deep or could put LPS higher in tank. Wich include Open brains

arent xenia the ones that grow like crazy and ya always gotta trim them? cuz if so id rather not get 1...does anyone have a coral taht looks sumwhat like an anenmonie (with tentacles)...that looks cool, beginner friendly and under 40dollars?

nothing with that lighting imo,as far as xenia goes it spreads really well u can take frags back to your lfs and get more corals!

my buddy had a 130w on his 30cube wich is 20" deep
He has Frogspawn, mushrooms, GSP, xenia, zoa, and bunch of other things and it did fine.
all depends on where you put in your tank..LPS middle to higer in tank. shrooms and softies can go lower.

so whats wrong with 130watts of pc? i dont mean to chalenge u or anything but i thought that was enough for softies, and ive heard of other people keeping them under pc...metal halides are out of the question for me right now..maybe i could bump up to t5s but id rather save the extra cash for livestock

i had 130 wts over a 29 and i had mushrooms, frogspawn(sorta looks like an anemone), leathers,zoos,and a bta( most will tell you not to put an anemone under pc but i wanted to try it, its still living, its been in the tank for about 6 months)
what size is your tank

same as urs..29gallon..except ur tank is cooler..lol..ive been getting along fine with my setup as a fowlr but i wanna spice things up a bit and add the coral that forced me to start this hobby!

wow!!! beautiful tank!!! mine is suffering disaster right now..if u want read my thread "bad new...=new tank..." in the newbie section of the forums..so..the frogspawns..when i buy my pc lights they will do good under them?? 130watts..

well the bottom pic is under 130 pcs and look how its thrives. does that answer ur queston??? lol hope everyting works out. 20L man good choice. my brothers has one 20L.

i thing having a longer tank than a taller tank is better.

i forgot, i have two tube anemones that are in a 55 with 260 wts but its the same wts just a different ratio

i just looked up frog spawn..tho it says theyre difficult to care for...so ill hold off on getting one for a while...

oooh....myabe ill try 1...they look really nice..but i dotn wanna kill it..itll be awhile before i have any extra money..but well ill see..
