Need to increase Alk

My current reading is ~ 8dKH/1.7meq. I would like to increase and keep at a higher level. However, my pH is 8.0 - 8.4 (night - day). Any suggestions on additives to help increase Alk and not increase the pH too high? I'm currently trying Reef Builder from Seachem and the bottle is about empty and wanted to hear other suggestions. I normally use B ionic 2 part system but I'm concerned this may effect the pH too much.
Thanks!

That seachems product works great! I would suggest using it in your make up water. that way you can add more to raise the alkalinity. 8dKH is not a bad level. How much higher do you want to go? --Bob

I would like to get to 10dKH and keep it there. Maybe I will make a large batch and drip it in the sump.

I've had good results using seachem products...I use calcium/advantage/buffer on a rotating basis.......drip approx 1/2 gal with 1 teaspoon of additive daily
calcium-400-450
alk-3.0-3.5 mrg/l
ph-8.3
also drip kalkwasser at night at the same rate

Your are right your alk is way too low.
Using Seachem Reef Buider will fix it.
What kind of gravel do you have, only aragonite has the potential to assist your systems buffering capacity.

I have "Special Grade" aragonite from CaribSea (1" max). I'm considering adding more aragonite and starting a drip with Reef Builder. Could I add LS on top of this for any benefit (DSB?) or is it too late. Not sure I understand the exact makeup of a DSB. I understand the advantage but unclear on timing of addition. I really would rather not fight the cloudy water and potenial for recycling.
Suggestions?
