Need to vent

I bought a fuge on the auction site. Advertised as plug in and play, NOT. It didn't come with tubing, instructions. I emailed the seller about that, he replied with online instructions for a "similar fuge". I know how to follow directions but these were written by who doesn't know how to write in english to well. Also the seller said that all I needed to do was buy 1" flexible tubing. First, more money, I though it was all included. Second, the bulk head was a different size than the overflow, the protein skimmer was a different size than the pump. I had the jerry rig all these with adaptors to get not only 1" tubing but also 1.25" tubing to fit. So I finally get it all hooked up, then I have 2 small leaks, one out of an adaptor the other out of the side of the protein skimmer. Now I have silicon drying. Plug in and play my a**.
Well thats it, no questions, just needed to vent to some fellow fishy people.

That really sucks.......Did you leave feedback yet??? That's one way to warn others about the product

I am not going to leave feedback until the thing is up and running properly. Even then it isn't going to be good feedback. Aquarium lights is the seller, they also have fairly good prices on their lighting and I thought I would go through them for that, but I doubt that now.
