Need trigger advice!

I have a 120 gal tank. It is 3 months old. After much reading I have come to the conclusion that butterfly fish are beautiful but need a more aged aquarium and live rock. So I want to get a trigger. Which would make a great pet. What is the difference other than in slight color appearance between the assasi trigger and the huma-huma trigger(sp?). There is a huge price difference I know that much! What about the undulated trigger? I am not concerned about aggression. Which of these would make a more beautiful adult display?:notsure: :help:

I have always been a fan of the huma huma(picasso). I currently have one. They are fairly inexpensive, colorful, not too mean and have lots of personality.

Both the Picasso and Assasi are members of the Rhinecanthus family of triggers...Most the their activities and behavior should be about the same...I compare this combination with my own combination of the Picasso and the Rectangulus...they dont fight and they dont bother the other fish...
The Undilute is possibly the meanest of the trigger group of fish...best kept by itself.

my picasso (whilst he was alive) was the cutest fish. He was in with 2 damsels, he wasn't aggro towards them at all. He did have the endearing habit of rearranging all the sand and rock though. Also tended to gorge himself at feeding time.

I was at a LFS today, they had an Assasi about 5.5 inches long...it was an incredibly beautiful fish....and for $99.99.
Triggers are cool. I enjoy the three that I have...in addition to the two above..a female blue throat.

hi there id be putting a trigger in as one of my last fish because they are known for domination i have to triggers in my big tank a Niger Trigger and a Picasso they get on really well theyve even shared the same cave but i once had an Orange lined trigger she was beautiful but one on day for no apparent reason she decided to rip the head of my peculia clown so i got rid of her she`s gorgeous but better of alone, picassos are beautiful and peaceful as a baby and adult but only if introduced at the right time, my dad also keeps marine and agrees good look in your search keep us informed ps Niger triggers are also peacefil and are often cheaper than picassos.:happyfish

if aggression is not a concern, then get a undulate trigger. i saw an adult specimen a few months ago,it was about 7" long and it's got this gorgeous olive background with yellow/gold stripes.

it will be hard finding tanks mates because they will kill everything and are best kept alone

I have 3 triggers in my tank and I love my Picasso's colors and nonaggressive personality. I also have a clown and niger trigger. All 3 are are very cool to watch.
My vote for the colors goes to the clown, and aggression goes to my niger, he doesn't know he supposed to be one of the "passive" triggers.
Which ever kind you go with you will end up with a very cool fish that is fun to watch.
