I am researching a theory of mine. Now this by all means will not prove or disprove it but it will give me an idea of if I am on the right track to a thought of mine. I have posted this on several sites I frequent. Here is where you all com in
I need two questions answered.
Political leaning, left or right? based off issues only. Not candidates or political party but your beliefs.
Do your parents share the same leaning?
Please be honest. No discussions, just one word answers to each question is all that is required.
Thank you.

right.
yes.
if your theory is that children generally hold the same political views as their parents, I can tell you that the answer is "yes". there have actually been many studies on that already.

I am a shotgun, I dont lean, I splatter but the best I can describe myself is not a Democrat and my Mom was a Demobot zombie. Step Dad was a little less enthusiastic about them but still in their camp. My dad was hard to pin down, basically hated whoever was in power.

honestly, i don't know what it means to lean to the right or the left, i just go with what i think is correct.
i have no clue what my parent's political views are.

I dont know the dfifference between right and left either I would have to have some one else tell me once they knew my political views
my parents arent really into politics neither am I so the second would be, yes.
(sorry, more than a one word answer, but how else would I have said it?)

I'm a Buddhist so I don't believe in some of what either side "preaches", though I probably lean a little to the left on most social issues.
My parents are gay rights activists, so I'd have to say they're uber-left....

Lean Left and yes and no to the second. My parents didn't vote along political lines, they voted for who they thought was the best candidate. Although, many of my fathers beliefs lean more towards the right.
Reefraff you always make me a laugh!
