Need Your Thoughts...Last fish

I have again placed another Sargassam trigger on hold at the LFS because she is so damn personable. She is also a good size (6-7"). I also have a special order in for a Hawaiian black trigger (not the Indian Durgeon).
What do you think????? Help me with my last fish for the 180.

I like the Sargassum for your tank Campbell, the Black is great, but to me they look a lot like a Niger which you already have. The Sargassum would be more of an "eye-catcher" in your tank.

LOL!!! I knew you would be the first on KJR!!!! I agree that the black is very similar...but I love the coloration of them...
The sargassum on the otherhand is unreal as well. I am seriously torn!

not to spoil the run your on, but the black is awesome, I like that sargassum, but for the similar coloring at less $ I went with a male blue jaw in my tank. I vote for the black

I have contemplated doing both, but 4 triggers may be pushing it in the 180.
I will definitely have all of them in my big tank when it goes up.

that is probably right, but it would be soo cool. I vote for the black.

What about when you ge the big tank make the 180 a trigger only tank?

LOL...i was thinking about that...or just having it be a tank for a Queen trigger or Titan trigger.

i thought Sargassum triggers where reef safe and not so aggressive. I just wanna know if there are any reef safe triggers because i use to have a pink tail then a big black out took out all my fish

any way i vote for Sargassum its a beaut

LOL...I like them both. They have totally different qualities. The Sargassum is like a miniature doberman. Totally harmless, great color, awesome attitude.
The hawaiian is like the rottweiler, will get bigger, when fed and well kept for is a very docile fish...but it is a trigger and can snap...
I seriously am torn between the 2...

Get the Sargassum now so it's adapts to tank life before the 'big' tank is setup. Then you can add the Hawaiian straight into the big tank because he's a lot more outgoing (Rotty like).

i love the hawaiian black..a lfs always had one but he was huge and cost an arm and a leg..but if u have a dark trigger already then u might wanna mix it up a little bit...tough decision. good luck
