Needlenose and corals

I posted this ? earlier but had the name of the fish wrong. Sorry
Do Needlenosebutterfly fish and corals go together in the same tank? We were told the Needle would probably attack our corals. My hubby would like to get some feather dusters. If you think corals would be OK. What do you suggest?

Do you mean a longnose butterfly fish?
You may need to give a description since many people call the same fish by different names.
Here is what I know about the longnose butterfly:
"Most individuals can be kept in a reef tank with most soft corals and small-polyped stony corals, although some may nip at large-polyped stony corals, certain soft corals (including xeniids and clavulariids) and zoanthids (e.g., Parazoanthus spp.)."
As a general rule, I think butterfly fish are not completely reef safe. Even if it doesn't pick at the corals, there is a good chance they will go after the invertebrates in the tank.
