Nemo is really thin

The only way I can get another fish is to get rid of the damsel...and he is too hard to catch, plus my step son would be very mad that I got rid of him. (he's kinda Matt's fish...)
I have read that they can live up to 10 years, someone else on this thread said 20 years...I do not know how long they had him in the display tank so to guess at his age would be hard to do. I know he is at least almost 4!
The only reason I said there was any reading for the ammonia is because my test kit is hard to read sometimes and I always err on the bad side, just in case.
Here are the best that I have been able to get. Ignore the big red spot...just stuff on the inside glass that I haven't cleaned off yet

Just a quick update....
I had to top off my tank last night, and since I have done that, Nemo is actually coming out of his little cove...he wasn't doing that for the longest time, only would come out when the lights were off

If you haven't done anything but top off, it sounds like the ammonia and nitrates could actually be affecting him. I would try and do more water changes over the next couple weeks and see if that helps. Not necessarily more water but more often, like 10% every three days or something like that. I actually think that does a better job of simulating the rainfall that you would see on the ocean. Perhaps increase it slight to maybe 25%.
Make sure and update it so we know how it goes.

ok, well here is a wel needed update. I did get some frozen food. He has been eating it, but not like I think he should be. He still pretty much stays hidden in his little corner, and isn't gaining any weight. All my parameters are back to normal, no ammonia or anything like that that might have been bad before. I am at a loss. Poor Nemo!
