I was thinking about getting one of these little guys but i was wondering i needed to quarintine him or if he is not prone to ich? Thanks

yes you need to QT you need to QT everything you put in your tank! I learned that the hard way...

I floated the bag, acclimated him, and dumped him in after 30minutes,, 1yr LATER he is doing great,, the water i use to do water changes and where I got him are one in the same.

I have one , it doesn't do much but just hang out on a rock all day. Pretty cool looking though, and YES you need to put everything in a qt for awhile. I too learned the hard way...please don't make the same mistake. It's not a step that should be skipped imo.

Yes, a cleaner goby can get ick, and many do....best to QT if you can.
