I am thinking about getting a neon goby. Would it be a good addition to my tank?
To see what I already have, look below.
what do they eat, and is it true that they eat parisites.
How big do they get and what colores are they.
Thanx!

How big is your maroon? I always considered them kind of big for a 10g. You could more than likely have a neon in there no problem. They are so small, they usually have no problems with other fish (unless they are similar sized and bottom dwellers [pseudochromids, etc.]). So, I think it would be ok. Bo

A pair of Neon Gobies would be fine. Be advised that they don't live long though. A couple years and that's pretty much it.

would a pair of neon gobies be to much of a bioload, and also, would they become a mated pair and stay together or just wander about alone?

They are black with either blue or yellow stripes. From what I have read they perform the same cleaning services as Cleaner Wrasses, but tank raised specimens are usually available while buying wrasses depleting the natural environment of their valuable services. I'm not sure if you would need a pair, my understanding is they can be kept as singles.

two, mine was always happier when it had the company of another neon. now he's kind of a loaner away from the clownfish and anthia.
