I have a few of these guys in my maidens hair. They are definitely not emerald crabs. One of them has eggs so I figured now would be a good time to see if they are harmful or not. This is not a reef tank.
You might not be able to see it clearly from the photo but it has pointed claws instead of the flat disks that you normally see on some algae eating crabs like the emerald.
