Hi, I just wanted to tell my experience with keeping the magnetic glass cleaner attached to the glass all the time. Very easy to just walk by and give it a nice cleaning since it is in there already. But oh my lord, did this ever stink. I took it off the glass as I had a small piece of coral in it and boy did it stink. Our LFS do this all the time, they leave them in the tank for easy cleaning. I will never do this again. Nothing was harmed but that magnetic cleaner sure was stinky.

I leave my magfloat in the tank all the time. It has corraline on it and the snails/pods keep it clean. My LMB enjoys laying on it also, and the snails tend to sleep on it.

Exactly! Same here!! I always find my LMB and hermits all over it, along with coralline. I do have to change my cleaning pad soon - I am dreading pulling it out!

Yeah I used to do that, but then the kids would love to run it over the glass. Of course they would get it in the sand and I do not want to scratch the glass. So I had to take it out of the tank. The only way to stop them.
